<p>You need to understand how your body works to protect you from respiratory infections and what you can do to help protect your family from severe illness.</p>
</div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Upper respiratory infections: Is it viral or bacterial?</strong></h3>

<p>Research shows that both <a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK8142/#:~:text=Etiology%3A%20Causative%20agents%20of%20lower,bacterial%20agent%20is%20Streptococcus%20pneumoniae." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">viruses and bacteria</a> (and other pathogens) can cause respiratory infections. Viruses such as COVID-19, influenza and RSV cause most upper respiratory tract infections.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="500" height="500" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Respiratory-Infections-1.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1332" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Respiratory-Infections-1.jpg 500w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Respiratory-Infections-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Respiratory-Infections-1-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure>
</div></div>
</div>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<p>A bacterial respiratory infection is most commonly caused by Streptococcus pneumonia, Haemophilus influenza and Moraxella catarrhalis. <a href="https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9727651/#:~:text=Streptococcus%20pneumoniae%2C%20Haemophilus%20influenzae%20and,and%20lower%20respiratory%20tract%20infections" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Streptococcus pneumonia</a> causes pneumonia, a lower respiratory tract infection of the lungs.</p>

<p><em><strong>Did you know? </strong>Your mucous contains antibacterial and anti-viral substances that can recognise and destroy potential threats.</em></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How Your Body Keeps You Safe From Respiratory Infections</strong></h3>

<p>Your nose contains bacteria and germs which love to hide in the hair follicles and skin within your nostrils. Although this is entirely normal, the trouble begins when harmful germs and bacteria venture further up into the nose.</p>

<p>Usually, harmful and stray germs like viruses and bacteria are swept away by our body’s mucociliary clearance system. Your respiratory tract is covered in tiny hairs and a thin layer of mucous that traps inhaled dust, bacteria, viruses, and allergens. These tiny hairs (micro cilia) move in a wave-like motion and sweep away pathogens to be either coughed out or swallowed and destroyed by stomach acid.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="538" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Viruses-goBU-1024x538.jpg" alt="Respiratory Infections" class="wp-image-1327" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Viruses-goBU-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Viruses-goBU-300x158.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Viruses-goBU-768x403.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Viruses-goBU.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The mucous membranes in our nose have two primary functions:</strong></h3>

<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Warm, humidify, clean and filter inhaled air</li>

<li>Act as the first line of defence against inhaled pathogens</li>
</ol>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How can cold and dry air cause a </strong><strong>respiratory infection</strong><strong>?</strong></h3>

<p>One of the leading causes of respiratory infections is the failure of the body’s first line of defence, the mucociliary clearance process. Cold and dry air irritates the mucous membranes that line your nose and sinuses leading to inflammation and respiratory infection.</p>

<p>Cold and dry air causes the sinuses to lose moisture, causing mucous to thicken and form clumps. Stagnant mucus provides a fertile breeding ground for bacteria where they can replicate, produce toxins and cause a respiratory tract infection. The body responds by pumping extra blood with extra white blood cells to the infected area. The resulting pressure from inflammation often causes pain and sinus headaches.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="538" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Cold-Dry-Aid-goBU-1024x538.jpg" alt="Respiratory Infections - Cold Dry Air" class="wp-image-1328" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Cold-Dry-Aid-goBU-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Cold-Dry-Aid-goBU-300x158.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Cold-Dry-Aid-goBU-768x403.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Cold-Dry-Aid-goBU.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p><em><strong>Did you know?</strong> A study proved air passengers are 113% more likely to suffer from upper respiratory tract infections than those who remain at ground level. The <a href="https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/common-cold/in-depth/humidifiers/art-20048021#:~:text=Ideal%20humidity%20levels&amp;text=Ideally%2C%20humidity%20in%20your%20home,and%20make%20your%20eyes%20itchy" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ideal humidity</a> for the human nose is between 30-50%, but cabin humidity drops to below 5% on long-haul flights.</em></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Protect your family with humidification</strong></h3>

<p>Worldwide, doctors are beginning to realise that in order to fight off and prevent sinus and respiratory infections, they cannot rely on medication alone. You need to ensure your mucous membranes are healthy and functioning correctly to protect yourself from severe illness and infection.</p>

<p>Air inhaled that is warm and moist protects your mucous membranes from drying out, thus maintaining your first line of defence against respiratory infections. The goBU wearable humidifier is designed to warm and moisten the air you breathe through our patented H100 filter.</p>

<p>The goBU wearable humidifier is specifically designed to help restore your first line of defence by normalising the mucociliary clearance process.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Is it possible to improve asthma?</h2>

<p>In the same year, asthma accounted for <strong>461,000 deaths globally</strong>. Asthma numbers are on the rise, with one study discovering that the number of people suffering from asthma increases by 50% every ten years. </p>
</div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What contributes to asthma attacks?</strong></h2>

<p>Research shows that cold and dry air cause inflammation in the nasal passages, sinuses and airways in the lungs, which can lead to asthma attacks. Humidification can help improve asthma by reducing the negative effects of cold and dry air by warming and moistening inhaled air and reducing your risk of asthma attacks.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="500" height="500" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Asthma-Attack.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1312" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Asthma-Attack.jpg 500w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Asthma-Attack-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Asthma-Attack-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure>
</div>
</div>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What is asthma?</strong></h2>

<p>Asthma attacks are caused by the swelling and tightening of the muscles surrounding the airways in the lungs. This causes the air passages to narrow, leading to coughing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and wheezing. Asthma triggers are different from person to person, but they can include cold and dry air caused by a change in the weather, dust, smoke, colds and flu, fumes, pollen, perfume, and animal fur/feathers.</p>

<p><strong><em>Did you know?</em></strong> The WHO discovered that only half of the population in low-income countries had access to a bronchodilator, and less than 1 in 5 had access to a steroid inhaler in 2019. These are essential for improving asthma, and managing asthma attacks and could even contribute to saving thousands of lives each year.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="500" height="500" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/What-Is-Asthma.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1311" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/What-Is-Asthma.jpg 500w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/What-Is-Asthma-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/What-Is-Asthma-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure>
</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How can the goBU wearable humidifiers</strong> <strong>help improve asthma?</strong></h2>

<p>Inside your nasal passages, sinuses and the airways into your lungs, there are tiny hairs called micro cilia. Their job is to sweep away foreign matter such as viruses, bacteria, allergens, and mucous, making breathing easier and preventing infection. For these hairs to function correctly, they need to be warm and moist.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Cold and dry air paralyses these hairs leading to a build-up of mucous and other asthma triggers. The patented goBU wearable humidifier features a H100 filter that humidifies the air that you breathe thus maintaining your first line of defence in fighting off allergens, viruses and bacteria.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="500" height="500" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/goBU-Masks.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1313" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/goBU-Masks.jpg 500w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/goBU-Masks-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/goBU-Masks-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure>
</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How can humidification help you?</strong></h2>

<p>The goBU wearable humidifiers create a sealed breathing environment which provides optimal breathing conditions for asthmatics. Our Heat and Moisture Exchange (HME) filter traps heat and moisture from exhaled air and disperses it into inhaled air. By removing most asthma triggers and heating and moistening the air through humidification, the goBU wearable humidifier could significantly reduce the risk of asthma attacks and help improve asthma as a whole.</p>

<p>Humidifying the air you breathe can increase your oxygen absorption and help with Asthma. If you breathe in cold and dry air, the air entering your lungs isn’t moist or at the correct temperature, making breathing difficult. Wearing a goBU wearable humidifier will warm and moisten inhaled air and help increase the amount of oxygen your body can absorb.</p>

<p><strong>Now</strong> you can take care of your health and wellbeing while living a healthy lifestyle with the goBU wearable humidifiers.</p>

Adults, on average, have 2-4 colds a year and children 6-10 colds a year, but this number can be as high as 12 for children. <p></p></h3></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">So&#8230;<strong>How clean is aircraft cabin air?</strong></h2>

<p>As colds and flu are caused by viruses, antibiotics are not helpful, and doctors recommend that treatment is symptomatic. This means you just need to treat the symptoms of colds and flu to gain relief while your immune system fights off the virus. When assessing the benefits of humidification, it has been found that humidification is a safe and drug-free way to treat the symptoms of colds and flu in adults and children; whilst at the same time preventing secondary infections from occurring.&nbsp;</p>
</div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What’s the difference between colds and flu?</strong></h2>

<p>It is essential to know whether you just have a cold or the flu because the flu can lead to severe illnesses like pneumonia. Colds usually last a few days, while the flu will make you feel awful for anything from a few days or weeks.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="500" height="500" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Colds-Flu.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1295" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Colds-Flu.jpg 500w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Colds-Flu-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Colds-Flu-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure>
</div>
</div>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Common Cold &amp; Flu Symptoms</h2>

<p><strong>Common cold symptoms</strong>: include a sore throat for a day or two, runny nose, congestion and cough. Some children experience a fever when they have a cold, but it is uncommon in adults.</p>

<p><strong>Typical flu symptoms</strong>: include a sore throat, fever (higher than 38 degrees Celsius and even higher in children), muscle aches and soreness, cough, headache and congestion. In some cases, you may experience vomiting or diarrhoea.</p>

<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="500" height="500" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Flu-Virus.jpg" alt="The benefits of humidification " class="wp-image-1296" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Flu-Virus.jpg 500w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Flu-Virus-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Flu-Virus-150x150.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure>
</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Why do we get sick in winter?</strong></h2>

<p>As the weather starts to get colder and winter approaches, you will notice cold, and flu cases will begin to rise. Viruses love colder temperatures and low humidity because it helps them live longer. Add lifestyle changes such as increased indoor socialising and activities, and you can see why colds and flu spread rapidly in the winter months.</p>

<p>The cold and dry winter air ruins your first line of defence against colds and flu by drying out your nasal passages and sinuses. Inside your nose and sinuses, there are tiny hairs, called micro cilia, which sweep viruses away to protect you from getting sick. For these hairs to function correctly, they need to be warm and moist. If they are dry, they can’t sweep viruses and bacteria away, which gives the virus time to replicate and make you ill.</p>

</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>What are the benefits of humidification?</strong></h2>

<p>Our wearable humidifier features our patented H100 filter that traps heat and moisture from exhaled air and disperses it into inhaled air. When looking into the benefits of humidification for colds and flu, let&#8217;s turn to our wearable humidifier technology. The mask creates a warm, moist and sealed breathing environment which protects you from catching colds and flu.</p>

<p>If you or a family member are already ill, the CDC recommends humidification for the <a href="https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17323712/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">symptomatic treatment</a> of upper respiratory tract infections such as colds, flu and sore throats.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Using a humidifying goBU wearable humidifier can ease nasal congestion by keeping the micro cilia moist, which helps clear mucous from your upper respiratory tract. Cold and dry air can worsen your sore throat, so using a goBU wearable humidifier can help ease the pain in your throat and help provide further relief.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">

</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Is humidification safe for children?</strong></h2>

<p>A study at the <a href="https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20416449/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">American Academy of Otolaryngology</a> found that humidification is a safer alternative to over the counter cough and cold medicines, especially for children. The FDA warns that there is little data to support the efficacy of cough and cold medicines in children under the age of 4, making humidification the perfect solution for treating colds and flu in small children.</p>

<p><a href="https://gobu100.com/gobu-story/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Our team</a> at goBU created a child-sized application designed specifically to fit smaller faces. Now you can protect the health and wellbeing of your entire family with goBU wearable humidifiers.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-ba1b3876-0ecd-4a87-a47a-4f12090b22eb" id="uagb-adv-heading-d4bc42b8-6755-445d-8552-8c073bce13e1"><h3 class="uagb-heading-text"> Did you know that over 20% of all travellers experience upper respiratory tract infections after flying? You may think it’s due to the pathogen-filled air circulating through the plane, but can you believe the main culprit is the drop in humidity? <p></p></h3></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">So&#8230;<strong>How clean is aircraft cabin air?</strong></h2>

<p>Boeing reports that the air inside modern aircrafts is fully replaced every 2-3 minutes with outside air. Aircraft cabin air flows in through vents overhead and out through vents near your feet, creating a circular cycle of air that minimises the spread of pathogens through the cabin.&nbsp;</p>

<p></p>
</div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<p>Modern aircrafts use <a href="https://www.epa.gov/indoor-air-quality-iaq/what-hepa-filter#:~:text=It%20is%20an%20acronym%20for,of%200.3%20microns%20(%C2%B5m)." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters</a> that remove 99.9% of viruses and bacteria from the cabin air. At 36 000 feet, the air outside the aircraft is clean, dry and low in oxygen. A mixed manifold combines cabin air and clean at a 50:50 ratio. According to airline regulations, the newly mixed air is then pressurised and conditioned to the correct temperature. Although the air is heated and filtered, it is too cold and dry for our delicate sinuses and nasal passages. </p>
</div>
</div>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Can you catch COVID when flying?</strong></h2>

<p>An independent study conducted at Harvard’s Aviation Public Health Initiative (APHI) discovered that you have a higher risk of contracting COVID in the mall or at a restaurant than flying on an airline. Boeing conducted their own research and concluded that your chance of catching COVID on a flight could be as low as <strong>1 in 1.7 million.</strong></p>

<p>Now you may be wondering why so many people suffer from post-travel illness if the air on airlines is so clean? The simple answer is a drastic drop in humidity. At cruising altitude, humidity is <strong>less than 12%</strong>! That’s drier than the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nevada" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nevada desert</a>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Aircraft-Masked-Passengers-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Aircraft Cabin Air" class="wp-image-1282" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Aircraft-Masked-Passengers-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Aircraft-Masked-Passengers-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Aircraft-Masked-Passengers-150x150.jpg 150w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Aircraft-Masked-Passengers-768x768.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Aircraft-Masked-Passengers-660x660.jpg 660w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Aircraft-Masked-Passengers.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How does low humidity make you sick?</strong></h2>

<p>The cold and dry aircraft cabin air ruins your first line of defence against viruses and bacteria by interrupting your mucociliary clearing system. Inside your sinuses, there are tiny hairs called <a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3906518/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">micro cilia</a> that are incredibly effective at clearing away foreign particles. Unfortunately, for these tiny hairs to function optimally, they need to be moist.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Low humidity and cold air dry out these micro cilia meaning you can’t clear pathogens or mucous from your sinuses. Low humidity also irritates the sinuses causing inflammation, a blocked nose, pain and sinus headaches.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Runny-Nose-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Aircraft Cabin Air" class="wp-image-1283" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Runny-Nose-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Runny-Nose-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Runny-Nose-150x150.jpg 150w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Runny-Nose-768x768.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Runny-Nose-660x660.jpg 660w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Runny-Nose.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>They estimate 170 000 tonnes of face masks were brought into the EU, not including masks for medical use. Masks for medical use are usually disposed of correctly through incineration, but the public simply throws single-use masks in the bin. </p>

<p>Let&#8217;s look into some of the benefits of goBU wearable humidifiers and how they can drastically increase your way of life. </p>
</div>

<div class="wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow">
<p>Unfortunately, millions of masks are making their way into the environment, causing widespread microplastic pollution. Many people turned to cloth face masks as an alternative, but these are far less effective at protecting you against viruses and bacteria.</p>

<p>Researchers at the Amsterdam University of Medicine recently found microplastics in human blood for the first time. They concluded that <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0160412022001258" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">77% of study participants</a> had microplastics present at 1.6 micrograms in every millilitre of blood. Experts are voicing their concern as they aren’t sure of the health implications microplastics pose to our health.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Benefits that will change your life</strong></h2>

<p>The goBU wearable humidifiers features a H100 filter which gives you superior protection by filtering the air you breathe of 99% of viruses and bacteria. In addition, you get the incredible benefits of humidification.</p>

<p>Humidification has long been used in the medical world post-operatively to support the healing process of the upper respiratory tract. Our H100 filter filters viruses and bacteria and ensures that the air within the wearable humidifier is humified and kept warm. It does this by trapping the heat and moisture from inhaled air and diapering it into inhaled air.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="800" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/goBU-Masks-2-1024x800.png" alt="Benefits Of goBU Masks" class="wp-image-881" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/goBU-Masks-2-1024x800.png 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/goBU-Masks-2-300x234.png 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/goBU-Masks-2-768x600.png 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/goBU-Masks-2-600x469.png 600w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/goBU-Masks-2.png 1342w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How can humidification help you?</strong></h2>

<p>The respiratory tract contains tiny hairs called micro cilia that sweep away foreign particles like viruses, bacteria, pathogens and allergens. This system works well when moist and in a warm environment, but it can&#8217;t remove particles effectively when it becomes cold and dry, leaving you susceptible to infection.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Humidification-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Benefits Of goBU Masks" class="wp-image-1255" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Humidification-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Humidification-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Humidification-150x150.jpg 150w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Humidification-768x768.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Humidification-660x660.jpg 660w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Humidification.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How can it relieve you of sinusitis?</strong></h2>

<p>28.9 million people in the US alone suffer from sinusitis, and this is often due to cold and dry air interrupting your respiratory mucous clearance system. Keeping airways moist through humidification protects you from infection, reduces discomfort, eases inflammation and alleviates sinus headaches.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sinusitis-1024x1024.jpg" alt="Benefits Of goBU Masks" class="wp-image-1256" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sinusitis-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sinusitis-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sinusitis-150x150.jpg 150w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sinusitis-768x768.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sinusitis-660x660.jpg 660w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Sinusitis.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Benefits of goBU Wearable Humidifiers As A Smoker </h2>

<p>Smoking damages the mucociliary function meaning smokers struggle to clear mucous from the respiratory tract, causing coughing. Smoke dries out and irritates the respiratory tract, so humidification can assist in reviving the mucociliary function by warming and moistening inhaled air.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Smoker-1024x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1257" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Smoker-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Smoker-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Smoker-150x150.jpg 150w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Smoker-768x768.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Smoker-660x660.jpg 660w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Smoker.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Protects you from asthma</strong></h2>

<p>Cold air causes inflammation and swelling in the respiratory tract leading to asthma attacks. The body then produces extra mucous, leading to breathing difficulties and excessive coughing. Wearing a goBU wearable humidifier will humidify the air you breathe, reducing your risk of asthma attacks.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Asthma-1024x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1258" srcset="https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Asthma-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Asthma-300x300.jpg 300w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Asthma-150x150.jpg 150w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Asthma-768x768.jpg 768w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Asthma-660x660.jpg 660w, https://gobu100.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Asthma.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>
